Windows Me also includes additional drivers in the Drivers directory on the Windows Me CD. To obtain additional or updated drivers, carry out the following steps: If you have an Internet connection: 1. Click Start, and then click Windows Update. 2. Follow the instructions on your screen. If you do not have an Internet connection: 1. Click Start, and then click Help. 2. In Windows Help, click the Index tab. 3. Type "Download Library", and then press Display. 4. Microsoft tests these drivers for compatibility and then makes them available for download. Windows Update makes these drivers available automatically by detecting the hardware on your system and offering you only those drivers that are compatible with your system. =================== WINDOWS 95 UPGRADES =================== Windows Me upgrades all Microsoft-provided drivers from Windows 95 and DirectX releases. Windows Me also upgrades certain third- party Windows 95 drivers that might experience problems running in Windows Me. If your display card or system included display-specific utilities (for example, extra Display properties in Control Panel, refresh rate utilities, or color matching utilities), an upgrade to the provided Windows Me driver may cause the utilities not to work correctly. If Windows Me upgrades your display driver and your display-specific utilities are not working correctly, this is because the existing third-party Windows 95 driver is not compatible with Windows Me. Third-party display drivers and utilities are often very interdependent, so that if you remove one piece, you will break the other. The display drivers included with Windows Me are intended to be generic drivers that provide stable support for standard Windows APIs and features. Because each driver must support a number of different configurations, it is impossible to support every utility with one driver. Some features that formerly were included in third-party utilities have been integrated into Windows. If you still want the extra features

Let the Freewriting Flow Essay
Peter Elbow, author of the article ââ¬Å"Freewritingâ⬠argues that using the technique freewriting is very beneficial for writers. Freewriting is nonstop writing without correcting or checking what youââ¬â¢ve already written. Elbow says writers should use this exercise at least three times a week to improve their writing skills. I strongly agree with his assessment from personal use of this technique. While writing my first freewrite I realized I was less stressed, I felt like the paper displayed my character more, and I was able to share all of my ideas without losing them. We are so caught up in trying to sound educated and proper in our writings it sometimes can take away from the actual piece. Writing while under stress often turns out in a disaster, usually why my pieces of writing arenââ¬â¢t always the best. Just like Elbow has said the reason people get so stressed while writing is because of how we are taught throughout school ââ¬Å"schooling makes us obsessed wi th the ââ¬Å"mistakesâ⬠we make in writing. Many people constantly think about spelling and grammar as they try to write. I am always thinking about the awkwardness, wordiness, and general mushiness of my natural verbal product as I try to write down wordsâ⬠(Elbow). This is completely true, the way we are taught in school adds a great deal of stress to the writer. At the beginning of every paper Iââ¬â¢ve ever written for school Iââ¬â¢ve always had stress because writing was never my strong suit to begin with and the requirements made it that much harder for me to develop a paper. Giving people such high standards for writing, yet telling them to make it their own is quite difficult for the writer because they are more worried about the structure rather than the actual content of the piece. People are also under stress while writing a paper because of who could be reading their piece, audience has a major impact on how a writer constructs their paper. With freewriting though you only have to worry about yourself reading over the paper so your ideas will flow easier onto the page because you a renââ¬â¢t watching what your write in fear of offending someone. You are able to fully be yourselfà throughout the piece. Itââ¬â¢s difficult to incorporate character into your writing when you have to follow so many guidelines and worry about so many different things. Elbow states in his writing that you have a voice which is the main source of power in your writing, and unfortunately that ââ¬Å"voice is damped out by all the interruptions, changes, and hesitations between the consciousness and the pageâ⬠(Elbow). If we all had the same voice and then no ones writing would really be all that special. Freewriting helps the writer to find that voice because they are writing their exact ideas without anything interrupting them. Once they are done with the freewrite they are able to go back and fix it up a little but it will still be their voice and how they felt in the first place. Elbow makes a good point at the end of his piece saying that you only have one voice and you canââ¬â¢t give up on that voice no matter how much you may dislike it because without it you will never be heard, and your writing will never be your own. To me making the piece your own and to actually enjoy writing it is what writing should be about. Not the grammar mist akes, or how well it all flows. It should be about your thoughts and how you feel they should be expressed into a piece of writing. If writing is considered such a personal thing then we shouldnââ¬â¢t be so critiqued on every little thing throughout it. Itââ¬â¢s happened more times than not when a writer loses an idea because they were too busy checking back on a previous one and trying to make it better. Using Elbowââ¬â¢s freewriting technique will ensure you to never lose an idea because as soon as it pops into your head you are able to write it down, even if it doesnââ¬â¢t exactly belong right there. Elbow also says that his technique stops the writer from editing their piece while writing allowing the ideas to flow more easily. I know from personal experience I lose ideas constantly because Iââ¬â¢m worried about the previous paragraph, and if it was really good enough. When I wrote my freewrite I did not lose any ideas, I was able to get exactly what I wanted to say into that piece of writing and in the end if I wanted to I was able to go back and expand on them. Peter Elbow, author of the arti cle ââ¬Å"Freewritingâ⬠has helped me be able to form a more well developed piece of writing through his technique, freewriting. This exercise has helped me stay calmer while I write my paper and helps me to not worry about what Iââ¬â¢m writing the entire time. I benefit from Elbowââ¬â¢s technique this because once all of my ideas are out on paper I am able to go back andà form them into well-developed paragraphs just like I am required to do. The requirements from professors, bosses or whoever the audience may be will prevent someone from writing the best they can and making a piece their own because they are too worried about what the audience will think of it or if itââ¬â¢s good enough for their standards. For anyone who has trouble with forming ideas, or gets too caught up in the editing part of the paper while still writing should try out Elbowââ¬â¢s exercise freewriting and they may be surprised at how well it works and how much it may help them. I know I sure was shocked at how much it helped me especially after being a little uneasy about it at first I was pleasantly surprised. The freewriting exercise is what helped me develop this paper. I sat down for about an hour and was able to get all of my ideas down with no worries about grammar errors, or my audience, all I focused on was my ideas and what I thought was best to say in this paper. After I had finished it I went back and turned the freewrite into this piece. Since it worked so well for me I will now use freewriting before I start any of my papers in the future. An Analysis of ââ¬ÅThe Ways of Meeting Oppressionââ¬Â...
An Analysis of ?The Ways of Meeting Oppression? Martin Luther King Jr. during the Civil Rights movement brought about many different views on how one?s oppression should be handled in America. ?The Ways of Meeting Oppression,? by Martin Luther King Jr., is based on how people handle oppression. According to Dr. King there?s a whole spectrum that ranges from violence to non-violence action in which the views are placed. Martin Luther King Jr. illustrates strategically how oppressed people deal with the three types of oppression, which are: acquiescence, violence, and non violence resistance. During the first half of the twentieth century segregation was the way of life in the south. It was excepted, and even though it was morally wrong, it still went on, as it there was nothing wrong with it. African Americans were treated as if they where a somehow sub-human, they were treated because of the color of their skin that somehow, someway they were different. Some African Americans began to ?tacitly adjust themselves to oppression?(King), or as King saw it acquiescence. Others began to stand up for themselves but in a matter that involved violence. There where those that stood up for themselves by using nonvi olence resistance which was Dr. King?s ideal method of dealing with oppression. ?Nonviolence is the answer to the racial, political and moral question. . .the need for man to overcome oppression and violence. . .?(King). How Marriage And Family Concepts Relationship Between...
I am going to talk about how marriage and family concepts or relationship in Hinduism and Christianity are influenced by Laws of Manu and Writings of Martin Luther. Martin Luther, a German monk, priest and theologian, is a great reformer in western church history. He focused his study on the necessity for salvation and stated that the rightness of God is the strong faith believers have. His writings hold against the corruption of Catholicism and at the meantime, describe his perspective in the Radical Reformation. The masterpiece called the church to concentrate on the teachings of Bible itself. Law of Manu, complied between 200-400C.E., gives particular descriptions and prescriptions of dharma. It includes the caste system in Hinduism, the four stages of life, the status of women in the society and so on. Because Law of Manu is one of the most important texts of all legal codes in Hinduism, every Brahman has the obligation to read it at least once in his or her lifetime. Instead of ordering readers to do things, Law of Manu serves as a simple instruction by offering possible actions to certain problems and their consequences. Speaking of family and marriage, Law of Manu addresses the duties of husband and wife, the details of a marriage ceremony and the benefits when a proper marriage is conducted. As in Writings of Martin Luther, Luther stresses that marriage and family should be treated with respect and honor in the church and society which was against the common view

Responsibilities Towards State In Australiaââ¬Myassignmenthelp.Com
Question: Discuss About The Responsibilities Towards State In Australia? Answer: Introducation Rights are given so much weight nowadays. However one can easily forget that there is also another side to this equation which is related to the responsibilities towards the State in Australia. In accordance with the study of Runzo and Co-authors (2014), the actual meaning of right is that getting liberty from interference by government or any other individual. ndividual rights can be termed as freedom of each, and every individual gets to continue their life and goals with no interference from government or any other individual. Individual right is related to their life, freedom and pursue happiness as reported by the Australian government. However, these rights come with responsibilities towards community and state. Community refers to group of individuals having common morals and interests. Community n be described as "wholeness incorporating diversity" and might be inclusive of individuals with various values, ages, incomes and backgrounds. An individual can become a member of two or more communities; such as becoming part of geographic residence and member of workplace. State responsibilitiesare the duties and responsibilities of an individual to the society and are inclusive of support, value and contribution. It is a concept that goes beyond thoughts and performing as a person having common beliefs regarding shared interests and life. Voting in elections is a fundamental responsibility of a community. In this aspect major conflict is between responsibility ofEmbracing Australians Values and human rights provided to the citizens in Australia especially in terms of freedom of speech provided by Australian Government. From generations, this right is considered as given liberty which the most cherished among values underpinning Australia. Among all the most appreciated liberty is freedom of expression (Edwards, 2013). Although free speech is a severe and indisputable conception, its process could difficult and solid. However, this principle is mixture of black and white which makes it grey. It is because; freedom of speech cannot be considered as a total right. As it holds a variety of responsibilities and is restricted by legal restrictions, morals and principled considerations. According to the ICCPR Article 19, each and every individual holds the right to make opinions without any interference (French, 2015). Each and every person has right to liberty expressing, this right is inclusive of liberty to take, accept and pass on information and thoughts about anything, despite of frontiers, either by verbally or in written manner or printed or by any other medium of their wish. The attainment of right by an individual provided in paragraph 2 of this cited article holds with it exceptional responsibilities and duties. For that reason it can be subjected to some restrictions, however only in such cases, like legally provided or are mandatory: In context with the rights of others; The welfare of society or by public command, health or values (Barry and Sage-Jacobson). For a better understanding of this conflict following two cases can be considered which are related to free speech judgments which have been handled by a high court of Australia. In this aspect, the first case is Monis v The Queen. In this case, the defendant had sent letters to the acquaintances of soldiers who were killed in the war in Afghanistan. The letters condemned Australias association in military disagreement (Mearns, 2015). The defendant was held for allegedly breachingSec 471.12 of theCriminal Code Act 1995, as it was an offence for using postal services to threat or annoy someone or case a crime. In this aspect, defendant had a responsibility to respect the State norms and have not sent such letter which were alleged to offend other individuals. This was the clear case of misuse of provided right as this right is supposed to be used with the responsibility. Another case related to this aspect is of Attorney-General (SA) v Corporation of the City of Adelaide. This case involved several people speaking in a community in Adelaide. They allegedly breached the law local government by-law which makes illegal is a person talks, campaigns, harangue or else seeking for religious basis. However, this was vaguer as this was mere a discussion on which right was not misused to the severe extent. In both the cases, the decision depends entirely on is the laws were considered unacceptable for contravening animplied constitutional right to freedom of political communication. Further, in both cases, the court made a decision that the laws were applicable. Cited cases later appeared in the High Court for the final decision regarding Lex Wottenearly in 2013. In this case; extraordinary parole conditions put up by Wotten included a restriction on communication with journalists, and the general public was following hisimmersion in the 2004 Palm Island riot. The High Court defended the validity of parole condition (Gale, 2016). These Decisions shows that how weak the adopted right to freedom is. It can be said that dependency on security against laws that limit a persons right to liberty of speech. However, resolution of this dispute is mainly based on the entire situation and primarily on the intention of the defendant. Legal disputes related to freedom of speech can be resolved by both legal mechanism and non legal mechanisms. In the legal mechanism, the case is resolved through do the internal and external reviews in which statuary administrative and judicial bodies are involved, which are Royal commissions, Australian Human Rights Commission, Independent Commission against Corruption (Roberts, 2013). This resolution is a complete formal process which is cost and time-consuming. However, this is compulsory if the matter is severe like in the given three case examples. On the other hand, the non-legal mechanism includes trade unions, parliament members, media, non government associations and interest groups which act as a mediator and try to solve the situation without involving in legal proceedings (Merrils, 2017). The best example of this mechanism is alternative dispute resolution in which arbitrator or mediator is appointed who is the unbiased person who looks after the case in order to provide viable decision which is acceptable by both parties. Further, if concerned parties are not satisfied with the decision, then they can consider legal mechanisms References Barry, L. and Sage-Jacobson, S., 2015. Julius Caesar - Analysis Of Caesar Essays - , Term Papers
Julius Caesar - Analysis of Caesar Essay on Caesar In Shakespeare's play of "Caesar" Brutus is a conspirator who portrays a person who favors a republic for Rome. Brutus is an honorable man. Many characters in the play show there reverence for Brutus. Brutus exemplifies his honor in many ways. Brutus is obsequious when he is needed to abet his fellow romans. Brutus is an honorable man. "Am I entreated to Speak and Strike? O Rome I make thee promise, If the redress will follow, then receivest thy full petition at the hand of Brutus" (Shakespeare 397). Brutus will obey to whatever the romans convey to him. Consequently, Brutus joins the conspiracy inorder to help the romans rid rome of Caesar. Brutus also understands that he is putting it all on the line for his romans, therefore Brutus is an honorable man. Brutus is a scrupulous man, whose virtues endure. "No not an oath, If not by the face of men, the sufferance of our souls, the time's abuse-If these motives be weak, break off betimes, and every men hence to his idle bed; So let high sighted tyranny rage on, till each man drop by lottery" (Shakespeare 399). Brutus said that if the conspirators do not join for a common cause, then there is no need for an oath because the conspirators are self-righteous, and they are serving the romans. If the conspirators don't bind together, then each man will go his own way, become a weakling, and die when it suits the tyrants caprice. Brutus is advocates peace, freedom and liberty, for all romans, which shows that Brutus is an altruistic as well as an honorable man. Brutus also had a compassion for Caesar when he had killed Caesar. "If then that a friend demand why Brutus rose against Caesar, this is my answer: Not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more" (Shakespeare 421). Brutus had honored Caesar but Brutus felt that Caesar was to ambitious. Brutus also felt that Caesar made the romans as slaves. Therefore, Brutus is an honorable man. Brutus is a noble man who was revered by many. Brutus had j oined the conspiracy because he had the desire to help the commoners. He was a follower of idealism, where the romans would possess peace, liberty and freedom. Brutus wanted the kill Caesar, because he believed that all of the people of Rome would eventually be slaves, thus Brutus resorted to the assassination if Caesar. Brutus is a honorable man. Marcus Brutus was a good friend to Julius Caesar, but not good enough. He had moral values dealing with Rome and its people. Brutus' values then made him join a conspiracy against Caesar put together by Cassius. Brutus joined this mainly because he didn't want Caesar to turn his back on Rome so there would be a reasonable reason for killing Caesar. If Brutus wasn't in the play, there would be no "Tragedy" in The Tragedy of Julius Caesar.
